Music Therapy and Counseling Services
Anna is a board-certified music therapist who is passionate about journeying with people in music to enhance quality of life and promote healing, coping skills, and overall well-being. She is trained in methods such as improvisation, songwriting, and music-assisted relaxation, and is committed to co-creating a safe therapeutic relationship where individuals can try new things and learn skills they can use in day-to-day life. Anna supplements music experiences with verbal processing and counseling methods using humanistic and relational-cultural approaches. Anna is committed to practicing with cultural humility, providing a safe place to explore intersectional identities, and honoring clients’ beliefs and backgrounds.
Anna also provides live music for meaningful life events such as weddings, funeral/Celebration of Life services, retirement celebrations, and more.

Anna obtained her M.A. in Music Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. She works as a hospice music therapist for Penn Medicine, where she provides services to patients and families at end of life. Her work focuses on quality of life through supporting decreased pain and anxiety, processing anticipatory grief, creating legacy projects, and enhancing interpersonal interactions. She has provided music therapy as part of a chronic pain management support study, teaching individuals ways of incorporating music into self-care practices with psychoeducation about the impact of music on the physiological processes involved in pain and stress. She has clinical experience with neurological conditions such as dementia, stroke, and traumatic brain injury, and has worked with children and adults with medical and developmental disorders. Anna is flexible and creative in her approach, centering her practice around clients’ strengths and personal goals, and is dedicated to empowering individuals in their path to wellness.
